The line between self(ish/less).
Entry 3. I suppose the way I do all of this is like I'm being put on display. In a way, I am. In a way, I'm not. The only way someone finds these is through my browser history or looking for random blog names. Even then, it isn't as if I'm known. But I digress.
Making decisions for others, are you stripping them of their free will, or are you sparing them from anguish? Can you know? Is that the authority you hold in the world—you hold above your friends? Well, it's not as if anyone will answer me.
Can it not be both if you have the best intentions? You could be an unreliable narrator. You probably are. Still, in the off chance you're right; are you willing to stake it all on being right or wrong? Your gut, your heart, your mind... Which will you pick?
All this to mull over. I get told "You don't have to endure it all on your own," but I do. I must. When the clock runs out, will I be happy? Will they? The answer is no either way. No matter the choice, the result will be the same yet different.
Do you think wishes come true? Do you think you can receive what you want while you're living? What if you can only get it when you die? Is it worth it then? Hey, tell me. I need someone to tell me if I'm toeing the line or if I'm so far off it hurts. Maybe that's answer enough.
Ignorance is bliss. Tread lightly.
If I get told something horrible, I don't know if I'd inform anyone else. Cruelty or mercy? Hey, do you know? Can you give me a definite in this gray life where nothing can be black and white?
